  • Narsingh Avatar Lord Vishnu incarnated as Narsingh to save his great devotee Prahlad from Hiranyakashyap. Lord Narsingh is worshiped in Varaha forest situated in Jind district. He is worshiped in the month of Shravana. In the month of Baisakh (April-May) Narsingh Jayanti celebrated on the 4th day of Shukla Paksha.
